End of Year Event - Update
By Matt Wynn-Jones
The 2017 Counterparts Technology Christmas Party was held in on 13 Dec 2017 at Martin Place Bar in Sydney. A fantastic night to thank the dedicated Counterparts Team, Clients and Industry Partners for their outstanding support in 2017 and to launch our new branding and our new Counterparts.com website (by Expanse Media).
As a relatively new Technology Solutions Provider, Counterparts.Technology has grown from strength to strength with a number of very solid new clients. Our success is a result of our focus on our three core areas of Cyber Security & Risk Management, Personal & Workspace Technology and Hybrid Cloud & Data Centre Optimisation.
We have also maintained our focus on how we engage with our clients with our Consulting & Advisory Services, our Vendor & Procurement Services and our Project & Managed Service offering. By delivering disruptive and innovative solutions, we can demonstrate to clients how we can improve technology outcomes while reducing overall technology cost.
We have seen a great deal of activity with Counterparts.Consulting which is our Consulting and Advisory practice which has been paramount to our customer's success. We will continue to enhance this area of the business as we continue to integrate the Solutions Services Group business which will further increase our resourcing and consulting expertise.
With the successful launch of Counterparts.Express recently, the new Online Technology Store has proven to be very attractive to both our large and small customers with students and home users leveraging the platform. Customers are now informed buyers and generally know exactly what they want. This is a highly competitive landscape and even with the recent arrival of Amazon in Australia, we have an established, trusted and secure platform that provides a simple, easy, pain-free way to access half a million products that, in most cases, will be delivered next business day.
With the appointment of Kirk Jones as our Strategic Alliance Director, we have streamlined our Vendor/Partner engagement program to focus on tighter alignment and implemented our own Tiered Partnership levels for Vendors to ensure true alignment and focus. This approach will enable us to remain broad in our solutions offering while developing deeper and stronger capabilities and focusing on the true value of our Strategic, Alliance & Approved Partnerships.
We have launched our new branding, logo and website earlier this month for Technology, Consulting and Express businesses. This provides a simplified, clean, fresh new look and feel and will allow us to streamline our communications and engagement with both customers and partners. This new identity also provides us with a clear distinction and separation from our competitors as we continue to grow.
We now have representation in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth providing National coverage. Having developed a robust and flexible core, we are well placed to grow our client engagement with additional headcount planned for the new year - so watch this space!
In closing, trust, respect and integrity are still core to how we do business and we are committed to these principals. We couldn't have achieved the levels of growth without the support of our excellent and hard working team and the fantastic support from our customers, suppliers and partners and we are well on track for another successful year ahead.
Counterparts Technology continues to support the fantastic work of YWCA NSW - a Not for Profit organisation focused on empowerment of women and providing domestic violence support services. Help us to support this worthwhile cause by donating at www.ywcansw.com.au
Why not Eat for Good at www.songkitchen.com.au and Sleep for Good at www.songhotels.com.au where ALL profits go towards important programs against domestic violence run by YWCA NSW.
